ABOUT BALKI

BALKI KODARAPU - Engineering Manager & Entrepreneur

I love software and am constantly amazed by how much can be accomplished with a small group of like-minded engineering super-stars.  I know how to adapt my engineering teams within environments ranging from a 3-person startup (that I co-founded) to Fortune 100 companies with 25,000 employees.
I am a creator, builder and a teacher.  I am fascinated by the growing technology footprint in my favorite city (Portland) and am glad to be a part of that ecosystem as an active contributor.  I co-founded and grew a meetup called "I want to work for _ _ _ _ _ _ _" where I helped 100s of enthusiastic career-seekers find their groove at various local companies.
Right now, I am obsessed with building and fostering incredible teams as an Engineering Manager at PayTrace, quite easily the home for best remote-first engineering culture in the world... no kidding!
Ask me what an engineering culture means and I will give you a earful over free lunch or coffee any day.. guaranteed :)
